its been a while since i updated on Isabelle, to be honest its all been a bit mad.
Its been a long 6 weeeks!

Shes sort of doing ok, shes 4lb now, she did go up to 4.4 but shes lost a bit since then, it seems the bigger she was getting the more strain she was putting on her heart(she has a PDA), she was very blown up they started her on heart medication and Direutics (sp?), and that eased the pressure on her heart a bit, were going to the Evelina Children's Hospital on Friday to see the heart specialist about her operation which it looks like is imminent now.
Shes a bit grumpy and very sleepy now as shes working so hard, but shes ok.
I hoping that soon we may be able to move forward ~ thats what i need, it seems like shes been there forever!!
So i need lots of good thoughts and pixie dust please, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers

Sorry to hear she has a PDA - tho' I understand this is quite common with pre-term babies. Fingers crossed the procedure is a success and she progresses well enough to come home soon...

You guys are often in my thoughts - my DH was a tiny pre-term baby back in the early 60's who survived against the odds so he regularly asks me how little Isabelle is doing... Sending you all and plenty of ...
