I gave my husband an 8. He has a few little flaws-he could stand to lose 15 lbs and he's short. LOL, but he's still very handsome!
He actually liked a friend of mine when we met, and I kept telling her how good looking he was and that she should go for it, and she kept saying that she didn't think of him that way, they were just friends, so i moved in and scooped him up for myself..so he definately turned my head..and when I got to know him his inside was just as great as his outside.
I do have to say when he comes home from a fire wearing his bunker pants, fire boots, a Tshirt, with his hair all sweaty and flattened from his helmet, smelling like smoke..his hotness quotient goes through the roof! 10+++

I don't know what I am..but when DH and I were going out last night my daughter said Mommy you are beautiful! sexy! pretty! Just gorgeous!! You are THE hot mama!!!! So my 6 year old thinks I'm pretty hot.
(wondering where she learned the word sexy though!)

I think my DH is an average looking guy. I'm surprised to see so many good looking guys here because I rarely see them in RL. LOL Maybe I am a tough judge. DH is not a GQ looking guy but I am very attracted to him. I'm not a fan of movie star types--I'll actually pick the guy with less hair every time! LOL I guess in my business I see many beautiful people (& try to help people in that direction every single day) but the truth of the matter is, give me a guy who is loving and caring and fun to be with and talk to anyday!

I think that Gabby is really cute, but a lot of that is personality and character too. I actually think that she is cuter when she is fattened up a bit, but she seems to think that she needs to be thin to be attractive. Whatever! I love her from the bottom of my soul. I made it a poll to keep it private if people chose to. I already gave myself a 4 or 5. I choose not to give my wife's number publicly, but rest assured, on pure physcial beauty, she is not a 10, and she would definitely agree.

I rated DH an 8. He reminds me of Lorenzo Llamas except DH has a few extra pounds on him! Is he good looking? Well he used to do some in-house modeling at stores and yes he does turn heads and girls flirt with him all the time, even while I am present with our 3 kids. I remember when we first started dating and I introduced by best friend to him and as we walked away she (who is all about looks) said - he is soooo handsome! I laughed because that is what he is - handsome.

I gave my DH an 9. Do I think he is a 10? Yes? If you factor perosnality in he is a 11 (or highter!)

However acording to Hollywood standards he would only be a 9 or so. I don't think I really want him much hotter, after all he is a college professor. (a young hot one at that!)

Does anyone remember the line in Always with Holly hunter talking about winning her new boyfriend in a raffle? I won't want a DH that was so pretty he out shined me! (we make a nice couple.)

But then again beauty or "hotness" really is subjective. Many people think Tom Cruise is hot. I don't. Factor in his personaily and he is a 3!

A friend once told me that her Dh wasn't the handsomest man she'd ever seen, and I have to admit that was probably true, but she adored him just the same. Years ago I knew a guy who could be considered quite unattractive by most people. His wife was a stunner. He was constantly being asked how that happened. He got so sick of hearing that and I don't blame him. Like he didn't deserve anything more than an ugly woman. My Dh is just average so I voted 5. I have dated men on both ends of the spectrum and have had the best relationships with those who were on the lower 1/2. Those who have average or lower rated looks learn to rely on who they are rather than what they look like and are much more fun. My Dh has said I'm not the most beautiful woman he's ever seen but he thinks I'm a looker anyway. I think he's being kind. A man has to look good to me but I don't really care what he looks like to anyone else.

I don't think it's possible to be totally subjective when you care about someone. You tend to overlook the wrinkles and sags and so on and just see what attracted you in the first place.

It's funny though. I can definitely tell when someone I detest is good looking so why not when I care about someone?
