My husband is a perfect dream. He is really beautiful. That is why I married him!

Ok, here goes...

My husband is average looking. I gave him a 6....and that can be stretching it a little. Nothing wrong with that! What really attracted me to him was his sense of humor. He can be so down-right funny! Plus, he's a great story teller! And, he's a very loyal person....to me and to his friends. He'd do anything for anybody...within reason, of course. He is also quick to help out the elderly in our neighborhood. Just an all-round good guy! :goodvibes

Hey Steamboar, is that a Thomas Kinkaid painting? If it is where can you find it?? It's beautiful!!!!

Looks were never very important to me. Yes, when I was younger and single a good looking guy would catch my attention. But, then he would catch every other single/young girls attention too. Was my dh good looking over 20 yrs. ago, you can bet he was. But, after the physical attraction wore off (and it does) I realized he had more than good looks going for him. After 23 yrs of marriage, 3 kids, no debt, a beautiful home and almost everything I want or need, he's still a 10 to me, even with the weight gain and thinning hair.(But, in all honesty, he's average, probably a 4-5)....

I can't speak for other women and their thoughts as my hubby walks by, but I think (and my opinion is all that matters) he is an absolute hunka-hunka-burnin-Pooh Bear :) My husband has quite the baby face and looks NOTHING of his 33 years. I am being totally objective and honest.

Lindsay, or Kitty to me, is red hot!! :)
Lindsay...is that your SO in the picture? :earseek:

Mine is gorgeous! I have to admit when we were first together I didn't look at him and think 'wow. he's gorgeous', it was his sense of humour that made me go after him. But now I can't take my eyes off him, he's just so perfect. And very tall! :lovestruc

And as for other woman's opinion, that's not relevant in this case no one else is allowed to look at him! he's all mine mine mine :rotfl:

Florida, NO that isn't my husband! LOL!! It's Josh Holloway who plays "Sawyer" on "Lost". I love that show and I love his character. But sadly no, he's not my hubby.

Here is a link about him:

Being completely objective, I gave my DH a 5. When I met him, I found him very attracive -- and I was kind of worried because we met online and I hadn't seen a picture of him before we met. :earseek: I would say we're both just average.

However, that's more based on the fact that we have weight problems. When we're thinner, our attractiveness does go up a couple of points. :goodvibes Neither one of us ever had problems finding dates or turning heads.

(I'm just sitting here thinking after saying all that, it's diet time. )

I think that my DH is a 10! He's very much my type, that's for sure. His eyes are BEAUTIFUL. He looks sooooo hot when he wears shirts that match or compliment his eyes, so I always try to buy him said shirts :teeth: I don't think that he's caught on to why I always seem to buy him similar shirts yet...I do it for my own viewing pleasure ;)

I always had such a problem getting my husband to wear shirts that complimented his coloring! He prefers blacks or dark grays, but he looks SO good in jewel tones. I've sneaked a few in over the years, so he's gotten used to it, but he still prefers black.

I once knew someone who made similar remarks about her husband, such as "He's not much to look at, but he's mine." Guess what? He found someone (or perhaps a few someones) who thought he was attractive and they divorced after 25 years of marriage.

My husband ranks at about an 8; not the MOST handsome guy, but very distinguished looking and in great physical shape for his almost 60 years. He had salt and pepper hair when we met, became a silver fox, and now has completely white hair.

LOL - My DH is pretty hot and I have his Jr High Year book to prove it - every entry from a girl started out " To the Foxiest Guy I know" The kids and I were rolling when we read it - We now call him the Foxiest Guy - LOL

I gave my DF a 7. He's definitely above average, looks-wise. Without a doubt, he got my attention and stole my heart!

Then again, I didn't give him him a 10 because I wouldn't call him drop-dead gorgeous. He's just a regular old handome guy.

I wouldn't trade him for the world...

DH gets asked ALL the time by strangers if he's tom brokaw's son. the resemblance is striking!

and at least once tom brokaw has been named one of people's '50 most beautiful people' so i think DH gets a 10 objectively :flower:

My husband has pretty blue eyes, great dimples, a really nice smile, he's physically in shape.... yeah, he's good looking.

Well, I had to give my Husband a 10. I think its really hard to look objectively because looks are subjective. Everyones idea of what "pretty" or "handsome" is, is different. There are women who honestly in their deepest heart feel their husbands are a 10. I may not find them attractive in the least. I feel in love with my husband the moment I lay eyes on him, and that attractiveness has grown over the years. And attractiveness to me isnt defined by the media, but my eyes, heart (and a few other things :teeth: ). Again, its all subjective so it's not really an accurate poll.

When my husband and I met 5 years ago, i can honestly say i wasn't that attractive to him, he was totally not my type in looks. Fortunately I had a good friend who told me to give him a achance (not like I was gonna walk out on the date lol) well I'm glad I took her advice he is absolutely wonderful.

At the time my husband was playing around with his "look" and even for a while after we were together..lol We met and he had shoulder length hair that was 3 differnt shades of blonde...but now he has short dark hair (his natural color) and is just so very handsome in my eyes.

He is probably considered average by most, I gave him a 6

I couldn't put a number on it. But yes, I think my DH is attractive. Would he turn heads? I guess not. Me on the other hand! :rotfl2:
I've gained so much weight often people qauwk at me. Don't matter to me I still shake my groove thing as large as it is. :teeth:

another "10" here. Especially since he has shed some weight recently. I thought maybe I was being kinda biased until lately I have noticed heads turning when we go out, and buddy, they are not looking at me. :teeth: I do think it is very hard to be objective about the one you love so much. He is aging so handsome, on the other hand, he would be far reached to say the same about me!

edit: Okay Papa, I will lower my rating to an "8", if I can be objective. I think his sense of humor bumps him to 10, but that doesn't count in this poll I guess. ;)
