I scrapbook in our basement where it's very quiet at night unless I have the tv on. I have a nook that contains a large low maintenance (plastic and pretty much stain resistant) picnic table that we put down there when we moved in. We didn't plan on leaving it there (our deck had not been built yet and our yard had to be seeded and we needed a place to put it). I began using it for scrapbooking and loved it so much it's stayed. I have another 6 foot low maintenance table next to it where I keep my punches, cutting systems, 12 X 12 papers, a CM accordian filled with cardstock, a CM accordian filled with scrap papers, tape runners and refills, etc. I have a rolling paper holder with 24 shelves I bought at AC Moore that I strictly keep Disney papers on, and 2 book shelves behind the tables with multiple bins for scissors, stickers, die cuts, albums, picture keepers, etc. I try to keep it very organized when I'm not actively working on a page---when I am scrapbooking, I'm a spreader and usually have everything I need in piles around my pages.
