Is your home resort your favorite ?

Absolutely - BCV and VWL are my two favorites, so that's where I bought.

We own at OKW and AKV and adore both of them. On our last trip we spent a night at SSR and liked it so much we decided to spend our next trip there. I think, in the future, we may end up alternating SSR with one of our home resorts for our WDW stays.

We have 4 favorite resorts and we made each of them our home resort!

Yes, our two home resorts are our favorites, and we don't usually try to switch at 7 months.

I love the WL....but I want to stay at every resort...so I've been trying the rest. Finally going "home" in Oct

Stayed at SSR, BCV, OKW, BWV. So far BWV is my favorite, but I love them all. I do think WLV will be my ultimate favorite....but we shall see.

Yes ... well almost.

I own 3 resorts, most at OKW, then VB and BWV. I bought BWV for the BW view rooms at 11 months but having stayed there again recently for a few days, I can see it's not right for us; fortunately we only have a small number of points there.

We love OKW and VB though, and I cannot imagine ever changing at 7 months.

We own at SSR and VWL...VWL is our favorite followed closely by OKW. We purchased SSR due to the great incentives at the time and lack of knowledge about resale and availability of "sold out" resorts direct through Disney.

Nope. My favorite resort is VB then HHI, but still love BWV when we are visiting WDW. We pretty much bought what being sold in 98.

We own at SSR and absolutely love it. We've only stayed at SSR, BWV, and OKW so far and I have to say I adored OKW. I guess it's a toss up between "home" and beautiful OKW.

That is every bit exactly the same for us!

I think my problem is that they're all my favorite depending on the season, event, and/or mood I'm in ... it certainly doesn't help the already bad case of addonitis!

I own at SSR- I don't know if it is my favorite- but it is my 1st choice for certain trips. If we are doing a lot of relaxing, swimming, dining, resort hopping- then SSR is my 1st choice. A few weeks ago I booked for AUG for a quick getaway for DH and I- I had OKW & VWL, and SSR to choose from and I picked SSR.

With a large group or Grand Gathering, OKW is my favorite.

If I was doing a lot of park hopping I think VWL, BCV, or BWV would be best- but haven't tried them yet.

Yes The Villas @ Wilderness Lodge is my first love and was my 1st contract. The Wilderness Lodge and the Villas will always be my favorite location.

I had stayed at the Boardwalk Villas many years ago before becoming a DVC member and enjoyed the EPCOT area for the first time.

Friends talked us into going down for the Food & Wine Festival serveral years ago and I tried to book BWV but couldn't get a reservation so we stayed over at the Beach Club, while I enjoyed the BCV I loved BWV so when I returned home I purchased my second contract so we can book at 11 months for a stay each year during Food & Wine.

Our first introduction to DVC was during the construction of OKW. Took the tour, listened to the pitch but couldn’t take the plunge. The same was true for the Villas at Wilderness Lodge and the Boardwalk Villas but when they started construction at the Beach Club it was a different story.
We purchased during the construction period, added points three times and haven’t been tempted to add any other of the newer resorts, although I would like to stay a week or so at the upcoming Bay Lake Towers when completed.

And it's the only place we've stayed!

We keep saying we want to try different ones, but then we make a reservation and head back to SSR. We love it there. The bus system is great, the resort is huge and has really nice pools. And finally, being close to DTD is a real plus to us.

So totally unqualified to say whether any other place is better!

Yes, and for us, we can't imagine having it any other way. We own at OKW and BCV now. Our initial purchase was elsewhere, but after one stay at OKW, we loved it there, and did the sell-buy thing to make it our home resort. It's just such a great feeling to talk about OKW and know that we're owners there. We did an add-on at BCV, after I stayed there on a solo trip and loved it when I'm solo, for the convenience to Epcot and the theming.

I don't think I have a favorite yet. We bought at BWV for the standard rooms to make our 150 pt contract s-t-r-e-t-c-h to include a 1 bedroom. I really like BCV; maybe a bit better than BWV, but the whole EPCOT resort area is just awesome.

We bought when SSR was selling and I'm glad we decided to purchase elsewhere. I would probably, however, choose AKV today over a BWV purchase if I were buying today.

We've stayed at BCV and VWL besides SSR. Eldest DS and I weren't crazy about BCV and DH and both DS's weren't crazy about VWL.

Everyone likes SSR, but I think after our first stay at VB it might be everyone's favorite DVC.
