Congrats, that is definitely the lowest Disney charged for BLT and I am pretty sure the same deal applied to VGC for that special as well.

In addition, Disney threw in one or two years of points depending on your use year.

We actually purchased BLT for $94/point before it opened. We could definitely make money on it if we were willing to sell but we are enjoying using it too much.

Bought 150 BCV for 70/pt in 2002. Sold this summer for 105/pt. Used sale to buy 220 OKW at 68/pt resale (seller pd closing). Got half again as many points for our favorite resort. Happy DVCer here.

We are definitely in the money. We bought a loaded 250 BCV contract in 2012 and paid $68 per point. Seller paid closing and dues. I rented some of the points that were banked and we couldn't use which brought the cost down to $64 per point. From what I see on the ROFR thread BCV contracts are selling for above $100 per point just three years later. I can't believe it. I'm not selling now because I love my DVC but it's nice to know that if I needed to sell I could for a profit.
