Is Your Bed Made Yet?

Yes. I make it as soon as I crawl out of it. I have severe arachniphobia and my theory is that a spider could more easily crawl into an unmade bed.
Seriously, before you laugh at me, it happened. When I was young I didnn't make my bed and one night I found myself sharing my bed with a spider.
My mom told me it wouldn't have got in there so easy if the bed was made. That was enough to make me make sure I make it every day.

Yep, I could never crawl into an unmade bed, not sure why tho :confused3! Since DH retired, he will sometime make it before I get to it. :goodvibes
I'd never complain, altho he's not as good at the shams and throw pillows, at least he tries!?!?! :lmao:

Nope it's not made at all. I'll probably make it this afternoon when I go to that side of the house to pack. Right now I am doing the kitchen. Cleaned out 8 cupboards, washed them down and cleaned the oven. DS's room is right off the kitchen so when he goes down for a nap in an hour I'll go to the other side of the house to pack and clean there.

Oddly enough I make the bed every night before getting into it. I can't get into a bed that the sheets and blankets are straight and perfect. Drives DH nuts but he has started to appreciate the feeling of a made bed enough that often times he will straighten it up and make it before going to bed!! I do not know why I don't do it in the morning ...

Yes - first thing every morning.. Since I can "see" it from where I'm sitting here in the kitchen/living area of my place at the lake - and I spend so much time in my bedroom at my DD's when I go back there for the winter - I can't stand seeing the blankets all crumpled up.. Plus I love getting into a "made" bed at night..:goodvibes

Don't ask if there are dishes in my sink today though..:rotfl:

Don't usually make mine unless I'm changing sheets. Here's why...

Perfect!!
Now if only there some other studies like that proving that having clean laundry, dishes, kitchens, baths and carpets could be harmful to our health :rotfl:

Its the first thing I do when I get up. And if my DH is still in bed, I make my half LOL! :rotfl: It is also the first thing my son does before he leaves his room. I hate an unmade bed, always have. Even if I am sick and going to the couch, I still make it. I know I am crazy!

OMG! DH did that to me this morning!!!

I never make the bed and what's funny is the rest of my room is spotless. I just see no reason. We're the only ones who go into our room and the bed is just going to get messy when we get back in it anyways and this saves us from having to untuck the ends and him from having to drag the bulk of the blanket to his side.

We have company flying in today so I know why he did it but when he came home for lunch I gave him crap for it and asked why he didn't make up my side too then I could've stayed in bed all day!

We never make the bed. DH leaves early and I'm too busy getting ready for work and DD ready for school. I don't even care that the bed never gets made!

I don't make my bed.

Even when we change sheets once a week. It doesn't need it. We just have a bottom sheet and a comforter (Winter) or light blanket (Summer) and two pillows.

surprisingly, yes! usually I don't make it because why would you when you are just going to get back in the next night? :confused3

I've got to say the same - surprisingly, yes!

Usually if I make it 3 days out of the week I call that a good week :)

Yeah, my bed is made.:headache: My husband made it up while I was still in it. Not a good way to wake up.
