Is Your Bed Made Yet?

I feel so lazy when I don't make my bed right away, but the baby isn't awake yet so I am grabbing these few minutes for computer time. Often these days I don't get to it until late morning. But I won't feel settled until it is done.

I can't remember the last time I made my bed since i moved out. I really haven't since about January of 2008... except when I've changed the sheets.

Right now it isnt, because DH is sleeping in it! He works nights so he gets home around 6am and I get up right around then. But as soon as I get home I make it! I cant stand an unmade bed

Nope, DH is sick in bed. Poor guy, we're supposed to start packing up the house this week; I sent him to bed instead. I don't usually bother making the bed, but once the house is on the market, we'll have to make sure it's done every day.

Nope, I don't make my bed. I actually like to crawl into slightly messed up blankets at night; it's just more comfortable to me. The only time I make my bed is when I wash the sheets/blankets.

Heh, I never get to make my bed either because DH's sleeps WAY later than I do. ANd then there's the dog and cat who take over the second I get up...

I make mine every day, right before I get dressed for work. I never used to, but once I moved to my new apartment, I just forced myself to get into the habit. The rest of the room may not even be close to perfect, but at least the bed looks nice.

Its the first thing I do when I get up. And if my DH is still in bed, I make my half LOL! It is also the first thing my son does before he leaves his room. I hate an unmade bed, always have. Even if I am sick and going to the couch, I still make it. I know I am crazy!

Me too. Why bother. I'm just going to get in it and mess it up again. Plus, mine is really hard to make as it's pushed up into a corner of my room and is tall. I have to climb into bed. I can't just sit down on my bed.

Mine is not, but only because after getting up my cat decided to sprawl out in it and he looks so cute I dont want to disturb him. Normally I make the bed, it just makes the whole room look better!

Im not a bed maker and only ask my kids to pull up the covers on their beds. Only time the bed is actually made is every 5-7 days when I chnage the sheets. Bed making is just not something that bothers me.
Now, toilets are another issue. That is my peeve. I hate a dirty toilet and clean all three daily. Love those lysol/clorox wipes and a new product that you stamp on the inside of the bowl that "cleans" with every flush. And clean floors. I hate crumbs on the floor. I used to mop daily but have decided I was mopping myself thru the flooring into the foundation so I just sweep daily and mop 1 or 2 times a week. With summer approaching we will be out more than in so it will be even less of an anoyance!

I only make my bed when I change my sheets. Most of the time I'm either in a hurry to get ready in the morning or my dog is still sleeping under the covers!

My bed is not made yet and won't be today. Half the contents of my master bath and main bath are scattered all over my room. Making my bed is not going to help my room look any neater so I'm leaving it as is. I'll go back to making it when my bath remodel is done, or maybe I'll get used to it and never do it again

I never make my bed. Couldn't even if I wanted to, because it usually has two or three cats in it.

I don't even make the bed when I wash the sheets and blankies. I just put the sheets on, and then artfully arrange the blankies so that it looks like the bed has already been slept in.

I hate the sight of a made-up bed. It looks off-putting and uninviting.

I make mine everyday. I can't stand unmade beds....makes the house look so messy. I got in the habit in college living in the dorms and have continued since. It is amazing how much bigger the dorm room felt when we made out beds....luckily my roommate was the same way. It literally takes seconds to do so I am surprised that more people don't bother
