Is YC concierge worth $4,000 more than Swan?

You aren't comparing apples to apples though. You are comparing the YC concierge to a Swan Lake view (non concierge)

I think you should compare the $ factor to equal accommodations, then make your decisions.

For the price difference, go with the Swan and then as mentioned go again with the money saved!

The Swan is nice and has a equally compelling location

I may be devil's advocate, but when/if you cancel the concierge ressies, do all of your ps get cancelled as well?

DF99, I thought you would chime in at some point

I changed our itinary a bit because my brother's family really wants to do the sunrise safari at AKL and I am a little worried that there will be no AP discount offered during 1/1 and 1/2/04 when we are supposed to be there.

So now we will be spending 3 nights at AKL concierge and then move to Swan for the last 5 nights. This way, we will still have easy access to Epcot and late check-out on our last day.

At least, this is the tentative plan.

I think all the PS will be all kept. But if I stick with this revised plan, I may need to modify some of the PS and then go from there.

BTW, I am a DVC member and earlier because I had my heart set on YC concierge, I rented out my 2-br reservation at BWV and now I am hoping someone else may have one that they won't use.
