Is WWoHP worth the price of admission?

We are coming out in Oct, and we are considering going to Universal just to see WWoHP. Is the cost of admission to Universal worth it just to see Hogs Mead and ride the three rides?

Throw in a ride on Spiderman, Cat in the Hat, and Jurassic Park and it sure is. These are fantastic rides.

That would be entirely up to you and what $80 is worth to you. It is a tiny land with only three rides (with one of them being one of the best theme park rides ever created.) So if you might come away saying you couldn't spend the full day there and it wasn't worth $80, that's up to you.

It's one land out of SEVEN in a theme park filled with incredible attractions. I wouldn't miss out on any of it or it's sister park next door. Would you spend $80 for just Fantasyland or Frontierland?

I'm a HP fan, so yes it would be worth it to me, but it may not be worth it to you. As already mentioned, why not make a day of it and see the entire park? It may surprise you.

The info is helpful. Our schedule may not allow an entire day... So I thought I would post the question as my worst case scenario. I have been watching, and I am wondering if the crowds will be all that much better is Oct. It sounds like this is and will be the big draw for some time.

Hi just came back from Harry Potter June 22 - June 28. Stayed at HRH club level. It was fabulous especially with teenagers. Not a big Harry Potter fan but loved Forbidden Journey and the whole experience so did the family. Will definitely go back!!!!!
