We just got back from DL and I have come to the conclusion that WDW has become watered down. When it was just MK and Epcot, MK had live bands and entertainers throughout the parks. Since the opening of PI and MGM this has all changed. I think MGM and PI are great, but just because a new park opens does not mean they should subtract from the existing parks.

Disnee Dad Says....................................... Maybe it is just me, but if I just went to DL, I don't think I'd comment on WDW, they are a world apart.

I think DL isn't up to it's old standard. We do like DL better than the MK at WDW, but we love Epcot. I do think it is "weird" to go to a bunch of different parks to see some of the same rides I get rolled into one park on the West Coast. Some of WDW versions are better, others not as well done as DL (Pirates comes to mind).

When you go to a park like DL as often as we do (at least once a month, usually more often), and you have been going for years, it is sad to see the park such a mess, entertainment not up to par - so it is interesting to see someone else think WDW is suffering from some of the same problems. I think it has more to do with non-creative types in upper management (more stores, less entertainment) than the addition of parks to WDW. At least WDW has a Space Mountain that is working - DL's is down until Summer 2005!!! And our Pooh ride is lame...I can't believe they took Country Bears out for that.
