Is Visa accepted at all sit down restaurants?

Yes, and at all counter service places as well. You can even charge everything back to your room using your room key (like a charge card) so you won't even need the charge card!! Just give it upon check-in and you'll be all set!!! We always use room charge and only carry our room card and mimimal cash around are do just fine!!!

Yep, we used our Visa/Mac Card to get a soda at a fast food location too! It's nice not having to carry around so much cash.

A word of caution; you can't use your room card to charge at the restaurants & shops in the Swan & Dolphin, and it can be quite a long unconfortable wait there for the ones waiting while someone goes back to their own resort to retrieve a credit card to pay for the meal you just ate...

(Not that anything like that could possibly ever happen to ME, or course! )

Also remember that charge cards of any type are not accepted at the food & beverage carts! No Turkey legs on Visa! Keep cash for those sorts of things.
