We will be on site at WDW over the 6 days of Christmas:santa: until Friday 12/26. We will be on site at US/IOA 12/29 and 12/30:teacher: . Is it a good idea to go back to US/IOA for 12/31 and 1/1 we already have the passes (7 day pass that's good until 1/5) or should we do something Orlando-ish. Will US/IOA be so crowded:scared1: Is there something else in the area that would be really cool (ICE is already being considered:rolleyes1 ). I know that it's weird that I mention crowds after staying at WDW during the most busy time of year:lmao: :rotfl2: I will post this on the US/IOA tread as well. Thanks all:grouphug:

My party of 4 me, dh, ds 10 and ds 13.

Ice is pretty impressive but overpriced, especially if you buy the "fastpass" (but when we went that was a necessity as the line was endless). The ice slides are a blast!

On the site where you order the tickets for ICE it looks like you pick a time, so if the lines are long the chosen time doesn't me anything?:confused3 Thanks for the heads up.popcorn::

Not sure if that's new for this year, but last year you just picked a day and the line was totally, utterly insane! We had bought the fastpass and I don't want to imagine how long those other poor souls waited.

There is nothing to compare to a good NYE in the parks:dance3: .While the crowds are higher during this time of year you can still get in a few rides and shows. We plan on 18 to 20 hour days for NYE and 12 hour days the other nights.

WDW has the worst crowds,USO and IOA next then SW and BG.In fact BG and SW seem laid back:hippie: compared to the rest of the parks during the holidays.

We have done all the Fla parks and try to plan long sit down lunch and dinner to give the under 40 crowd that comes with us a chance to rest:lmao: .We rotate parks each year so they never get old:woohoo: .

This year we will be at Sea World, next year we plan to be back at IOA.
