Hi

I am in a confused state at the moment. We currently have quick service dining for free and due to leave in 12 days and we are now thinking do we upgrade to dining?

It's a choice of upgrade or seaworld tickets and I'm not sure what to do x

Hi

I am in a confused state at the moment. We currently have quick service dining for free and due to leave in 12 days and we are now thinking do we upgrade to dining?

It's a choice of upgrade or seaworld tickets and I'm not sure what to do x

You're the only one that can answer that....

Do you want to go to SW or do TS meals more?

Both sound like great options. I've never been to SW, but I want to go. At the same time, my family really enjoys the TS restaurants, particularly the character experiences, and always upgrade our dining plan.

Like the PP said, only you can decide what is more important to you. Are you bringing kids? How old are they? How important is food on a vacation to you? How important is SW to your family? Do you want to accomplish as much as you can or do you want to slow down and have an hour or longer sit down break each day?

There is no right or wrong answer. Both sound great. For us, we've always upgraded our dining b/c we have a child that isn't tall enough to ride many of the bigger rides that SW and US have to offer. When both of our kids are bigger, we do want to try the other theme parks. But for now, the TS dining with lots of character interaction suits our family better. But it won't always be this way.

Weigh your family's needs and wants and no matter what you choose, I'm sure you'll have a great vacation.

Since you leave in 12 days, you might want to check and see what kind of reservations are available at the restaurants that you would want to eat at. That might help you decide what to do.

Exactly as the previous poster said. Is there anything TS wise available that you would enjoy?

I personally like the Quick Service better. There are so many quick service restaurants to choose from. When I had table service on one of my trips I didn't like rushing to make our reservations..especially when we were on the other side of the parks. So now we usually go in September, get the Quick Service plan, and then pick one restaurant we want to eat at and just pay out of pocket. We are going next month, have the free dining plan..but are having one "special" dinner.. (t-rex downtown disney.)

If you leave in 12 days, you only have 9 days to do the upgrade. You should definitely check and see if you can get into any TS restaurants you might want.

If you have a choice between that or Sea World, then it's entirely up to you and your family as to which you'd rather do.

Depends on where you want to eat, where you have reservations or can get them, and how many are in your party.

There's a calculator here:

For us, using TS and loving our appetizers/desserts, DxDDP saves us approx. $400.

Don't second guess yourself. Keep the quick service. There are plenty of excellent quick service options in every park as well as downtown disney. BOG for lunch and WPE in the Marketplace at DTD come to mind.

if you have an opportunity for fd again, book a moderate resort and take advantage of the table service offerings then.

Enjoy your trip! :goodvibes

Since the date you leave is so soon, I agree with some PPs to check and see what is available within your time frame and how many of the options are available.

I think it also depends on if you are travelling with kids (especially young kids). Do you want character meals? Are you going to want to sit down to 9-12 meals (depending on how many 2 credit experiences you have).

For us, we love TS meals and I feel like the QS options can get old because I feel like a lot of it is the same (outside of some of the great options in Epcot!)
