Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I did not see it in the FAQ.

I'm imagining the Universal Orlando Resort (Universal Studios and Universal's Island of Adventure) is pretty much like the Disneyand Resort in Anaheim where the 2 parks are within walking distance.

Or is there some type of transportation?

Thanks!

Hi,

They are less than 5 mins apart. If you exit IoA then you have two routes, one going past The NBA Cafe, Hardrock Cafe and the Blue Man Theater and the other route going over the lake and past Margaritaville and other shops of the Citywalk complex.

Yep,unlike Anaheim, the parks are not directly across from each other, but very easily within a short walking distance

Never mind. The stupid website is giving me fits. The Universal website has a map under info that gives a good idea.

...one going past The NBA Cafe, Hardrock Cafe and the Blue Man Theater...

Yay for confirmation that that IS a path!

OP, take that way. If you go across the bridge, you're just giving yourself a whole lot of extra steps for no good reason. Take it from us! (we didn't notice a path on that side of the water until we were all the way across the bridge)

You can see the path that runs along Hard Rock Cafe and NBA restaurant. On the bottom far left is the Universal entrance and on the bottom far right is the tower at the IOA entrance.
