Is Undercover Tourist still the best deal on tickets?

Planning to buy our tickets today. We have used Undercover Tourist in the past but I wanted to check with everyone and make sure they are still the best place to go. Thanks!

For most....

We actually ordered 10 day hoppers with water parks and it was actually cheaper to go with official ticket center than UT. I found a chart somewhere that compared all the ticket prices and UT pretty much won out over all EXCEPT on this ticket.

I will say...the tickets got lost in transit (not OTC fault) but I really felt like the customer service was a little...lacking? They were not rude as we corresponded, just not UT!

I was looking at some tickets for my parents. Official Ticket Center is about $24 cheaper than Undercover Tourist. How big of a hassle were the lost in transit tickets?

No REAL hassle....our trip is not until May of 2016 and they did arrive about 2 1/2 weeks later...but if we were under a time crunch it would have been a definite issue. UT I know provides a eticket that you can link to MDE without the actual ticket needed.

I think the issue would have been more if they NEVER came...a little worrisome after spending a couple thousand dollars on something and having nothing to show for it. Wouldn't want to deal with the hassle THAT would have been. Again, it was not OTC's fault...but I would honestly be more comfortable dealing with UT with this situation just because they have always been on the top of their game in the past.

I found the best ticket prices to be with my Entertainment Book. I bought the current year one for almost nothing (like 6 bucks shipped) and will use the coupons on the trip, but was pleasantly surprised to find the tickets were cheaper than anywhere else that I looked AND I booked extra hotel thru it as well.

hmm I never thought about the ET book

Is it pretty easy to add the tickets onto the disney experience account? My husband wants to go with Disney itself to ease the transaction, but it is $44 cheaper to go with UT...

I should add that we are staying on the resort...

We bought our tickets from UT for last May, received them within 3 days (we purchased the actual cards) and all it took to add them into MDE was to type in the ticket numbers printed on the back of the card. Very quick and easy!

Just got my ticket from UT today, ordered on Thursday. Scanned the QR code on the ticket with my phone from the MDE app, ticket popped right into my account. I checked AAA, working advantage, maple leaf tickets and Disney. UT beat everyone @ $363.95 for a 4 day hopper

If I don't have AP, I buyy from UT.

I'm sure you know this already, but some may not:
Price quoted on UT for ticket is total cost, and that's what you'll see at check out.
Other ticket sellers, ie: Disney don't put extra fees on until check out. Then they add on tax, and in some cases (Maple Leaf I'm looking at you) shipping costs.
So to compare costs, on other sites you have to go all the way thru check out to find their total cost.

UT doesn't charge shipping, and tax is included in price.

Another huge difference is UT ships real tickets, not vouchers. And as noted, you can add it on MDE when you receive them.

I've always been pleasantly surprised at how fast they arrive, even to canada.

Very true. I thought I'd found a great deal through Working Advantage (Union employees) until I tried to check out & they added almost $40 in taxes & shipping :-/

ET does not have the large selection of different tickets, but their prices online were cheaper than anywhere else that I looked and were e-tickets so I could put them into the MDE system right away. They had Universal tickets cheaper than anywhere else as well.

Use this comprehensive chart for pretty much all the possible discounts.

Thankfully I have access to a relative with TicketsAtWork which happen to be one of the lowest discounts (even lower than Undercover Tourist).

Thanks! I used the mousesavers link to order the tickets from UT. For our 5 day base tickets it was the best deal but the prices are definitely close. I miss the days of the big discounts with the Y.E.S. program.

I saved over $9 per ticket at my local AAA, 2 weeks ago. That was for one 3 day and one 4 day.
