is two days enough?

I am most likely going to be in Orlando for 10 days May- June possibly, 8 of those days will be at the world, and I was planning on two days being at Universal. I am mostly interested in WWoHP, and nothing else because I am apprehensive about Universal to begin with (I really am not a fan of the Universal in my area, and am just like 'eh' about the whole thing) so I am wondering if two days is enough to meander through the parks or if I should spend 3 days here instead and 7 days at the other?

Also, what is the eating situation like there? Crowds? Would it be a good idea to go in the beginning of my trip, or towards the end? (I'm planning on being at Orlando between May 28th - June 7th..)

You could always start out with 2 days tickets and add a 3rd day if you decide you want another day there. You'll need to go at the beginning of your trip if you wait until you're there to decide if you want a 3rd day.

We will only have 2 days at Universal on our next trip and I'm not sure if it will be enough. But if we become lovers of Universal, we will start alternating between doing Disney one year and Universal the next.

We did 3 days at Universal and we saw everything we wanted to see and plenty of time to re-ride our favorite rides. I could have easily done another day as there were actually a few shows we missed.

I think it depends on what you want to see and do.

We would start out in one park and then half way through the day head over to the other. It's a very nice walk from one park to the other.

We went over Spring Break time in March 2011. We had 3 day tickets, but would have done everything we wanted to do with 2 day tickets.

We were glad to have the 3 day tickets, because HP had not been open very long and the lines were huge! But 2 days still would have been fine. We did not stay onsite for this trip, so we did not have FOTL.

We did the two day, park hopper last year. Started at Universal, then mid-afternoon we headed over to Islands of Adventure. Then the next day we had a better idea of where everything was and had a more leisurely time -- started again at universal, then Islands of Adventure and then back to repeat some rides that DS9 really liked and for some last minute shopping of items I didn't want to cart around during our stay.

I op carrying no bags (Purse, backpack, etc) in favor of cargo shorts when at all possible.

I feel the same way as you about universal hollywood it boring however when i go to wdw in june i plan on hitting ioa/universal for one day just for harry potter
