Is touringplans still fairly accurate?

We've always used their crowd calendar and touring plans, but I noticed that they recommend different parks than easywdw, and they say a fastpass for 7D is rarely necessary. Before I plan my days and dining around their recommendations, are they still a pretty reliable source?

I am also using them as a resource for my trip, luckily for my trip they match EasyWDW pretty close.

I don't know if they have enough data to accurately predict 7DMT, so I would plan on booking a FP+ for it anyway (unless the standby estimate is acceptable for you).

I really like how it estimates walking time/speed and we can enter breaks & ADRs so we don't overschedule!

The standby estimates were extremely low on the day I looked at, the longest one being 7D at 24 minutes.

Fair enough. On my MK day in October, it lists as 55min at 9:50am but 3 minutes at 9am/RD. Could be you're going at a fantastic time of year or an issue with their software?

I'm still going to get a FP+ for it since its a must-do for us.

They have actually been keeping track of how well their estimates match what really happened. They'll do a blog post every week or so that compares their predictions with what crowd levels were actually like.

They seem to be close a lot of the time, though like everyone, they are still trying to figure out the impact FP+ has on touring. So I would say they are as good as anyone.

It's a must do for us as well! I have it in the plan to do twice and it lists it as a 9 minute wait at RD and then 24 minutes at 9:22. It's a MNSSHP day, so I'm guessing that means lower crowds?

That's good to hear! I think I'm going to stick with their crowd calendar as it's the one we've always used before, but I am going to get a 7D fastpass if I can.

This. Last week of August and avoiding all mountains and 7DMT my longest SB wait listed is 7 minutes at Peter Pan. That seems......optimistic.
