Is Toasted Cheese on Rainbow Bread Normal TASTING Bread?

I'm wondering what the toasted cheese on rainbow bread TASTES like at the Concourse Steakhouse at the CR. Does it taste like normal white bread? Or is it somehow flavored or different tasting?

If it's the same bread that they have PB&J on at Jiko, it takes the same as any white bread, although it's sliced a bit thinker than your average slice of Wonder.

DS had it and he said it was regular tasting bread. I think they just color the dough because the colors are very vibrant.

It tastes like white bread.

I ordered it for my DS-1 but he has a kick now he won't eat grilled cheese, so I ended up eating some of it. However, my older kids REFUSED to eat it because it was colored. LOL! They said it reminded them of moldy bread, etc... (although it's NOT like that at all, the piece I was offering them was BLUE! ). I think they were just being stubborn. I thought it was cool myself.

LOL - I couldn't understand why grilled cheese on Rainbow Bread would be a problem, because I was thinking of the bread manufacturer (Rainbow) not a colored piece of bread.

LOL! the bread is "tie-dyed" and rather cool looking... kids said it tasted fine... but was "dry" (think arnold instead of wonder)...

Don't feel bad, I thought the same thing when I first read it on the menu (like the Stouffer's Mac & Cheese tie-in or Coke products) but then I remembered seeing a picture of it at some point in my research and went "ah-ha". My DS-1 *used* to eat grilled cheeses so thought that was fine to order & would be neat but for some odd reason he won't eat them now at all (rainbow bread or not! LOL!), so I ended up eating most of it.
