Is Tink a guy?

I do have a version of the photo that I ran through my
"Gil Grissom's Junior CSI" GEM (Giganto Evidence Magnificator)-

I spoke with a nice CM last summer who knew a few of the Tinks and two of the Peter Pan's. She said the Tinks she knew were all very "hatefully petite" females, but she wouldn't comment when I asked if Tink was ever a man. ;)

The Peter Pans she knew were exactly like the characters they play in real life, one of them more so! Think of the pirouetting during the parades and you'll know what I mean. :)

:rotfl2: I am so glad you posted the picture again Robo. I couldn't find it a while back when I went to show my DD. We are sitting here laughing about it right now!

When my friend was working in MK she was told that one of the tinkerbell's was a guy.

We did the KTTK tour last year and Tinkerbell and her flight (and landing) were discussed in great detail. Our guide, Matthew, said that there has never been a male Tinkerbell. We were also given the weight and height restrictions and wage information (not amount per hour but the fact that Tink gets paid a full day for her flight).

During our last trip we were hanging our the entrance to Cinderella castle pretty late, right after park close but before Main St. close. From one of the doors under the stage came a very petite man and a CM. They climbed up onto Stage, hopped over the rail and walked through a CM door right past the castle entrance. We all assumed that was Tink.

OR?

I'm guessing that on occasion Tink could be male if the male met the height/weight requirements.

As far as the harness and apparatus sued to secure Tink...well, if I was going to be flying from that high point of the castle over the MK to my landing point, I'd want a beefy secure harness too! And I'd think I was worth 8 hours of pay for that one flight!

I have a theory that Robo really is Tinker Bill, which is how he does his map magic. ;) :p

That proprietary information can neither be confirmed nor denied at this juncture.

While I did my college program, I head all sorts of rumors about Tink. I heard it was a man, and I heard the same person did it every night for years. I did hear that it was a contracted posistion, and the highest paid person (besides executives) in the park. I heard she makes more like 800 not 10K. I heard she made so much because she was required to have insurance, and disney didn't provide it.

My friend worked at the Bakery told me she saw Tink, and it was a little man.

I also know that the people who play Tink for meet and greets, are female, and very tiny. Something like under 5'0 tall, and under 95 pounds.

Who knew Terence was into that kind of thing?:rotfl2:

Robo, that Richard Simmons reference had me in stitches :rotfl2: That is one guy who could realistically play Tinkerbill :rotfl:

He was the first person that I thought of. :goodvibes
