We have CRT and Akershus booked for our upcoming, probably once in a lifetime, weeklong trip. My travel agent just suggested doing Trattoria al Forno the morning we leave before we catch our flight. My kids love princesses and Ariel and rapunzel are 2 of their favorites, and I know they would love to meet Flynn Ryder (as would I!) but im thinking that may be too much princess? Any thoughts? Advice?

If this is a once in a lifetime trip, then go for it! My daughter and I loved the Trattoria al Forno breakfast when we visited in 2018! Even though she grew out of the princess-phase many years ago, it was fun to meet Prince Eric and Flynn Ryder and the food was really good. I thought it was a good value for the price as far as character meals go. At this point, I wouldn't do both CRT and Akershus in the same trip, but my family isn't super-into princesses anymore as my kids are teens. However, when my kids were little and wanted to meet every princess in the World, the character meals were wonderful! The princess come to you while you eat in air-conditioned bliss instead of standing in a boring, hot line out in the park. One note about Trattoria al Forno: it is just a regular restaurant setting unlike the themed castle-type settings for CRT and Akershus. The setting might be underwhelming after the other two meals, but the fun character interaction makes up for it in my opinion.

And like PP said, you can always cancel the meal if you have had enough of the princesses after the first two meals.

We've done all three in one trip before too. It was fun! The only hazard is that sometimes one of the princesses might look a teensy bit different at a different meal but my kids didn't notice even when we did both CRT and Akershus in one day ;)

Go for the magic, who knows on the interactions they might experience at the Princess meals.

Honestly, if your kids love princesses then, it's not too many. The food is different, and you can collect princesses!
We did CRT, Akershus and 1900 PF, and my kids loved it!

IF, however, you find your kids are the type to be overwhelmed by characters (no, really, some are) you can always cancel as long as you do so at least 24hrs out.

once in a lifetime trip - go for it and book as many as you can afford! when my DGDs were younger one trip I think we did 5; we had Free Dining that trip so the cost was not as much of an issue.

For a once in a lifetime trip for princess loving children, I think those are great choices and, yes, I would do them all!

Even without the characters, Akershus is one we do every time. Trattoria is also a good breakfast. The character interaction is good at Akershus and great at Trattoria. CRT is not one we repeat, but we've done it and if you haven't done it, then you really should.

So...

Nope, that's just the right amount of Princesses for a week long trip (or even a 5 or 3 day trip).

Or very noticeably different. OP you didn’t mention your children’s ages but if they are young enough to be fully in love but old enough to have critical thinking skills, the ruse can be blown by seeing 2 characters too close together. That happened to us. The Ariels looked very different and we saw them the same day. If that’s a concern I’d make sure to spread out the time between Akershaus and CRT and not meet Raps in MK too close to your breakfast.

Thanks so much, everyone. They are 5 and 7, but we go all on different days. I’m really hoping they don’t notice a difference, but it’s possible they may. We have Akershus on day 1, CRT on day 2, then trattoria before we leave on the last day.

It woudl not be too many for us. We had CRT, Akershus and 1900 PF. My girls had a blast at each one.

You can never have too many princesses! I’d do it for sure
