What is this world coming to?!?!
Here we have a woman in pain, and for all everybody knows, is in mortal danger, and all anyone does is take pictures of her, then make fun of her on the internet!
Fantasmic303 sits next to her and has her picture taken with her like she's some kind of tourist attraction!
You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

You
are kidding, right?
Because 1:
The family in the photo IS NOT the family of the person who posted about her mom. Unless he/she was literally DISing from Main Street, considering he/she posted on the boards that afternoon.
And because 2:
I definitely did NOT sit down to take a picture with the ponchos "like she's some kind of tourist attraction".
Our family was sitting on the curb before the rain started, with the poncho family beside us. It was rumbling that afternoon, but it actually didn't start raining until like 2:30-2:45....so we thought there was a chance the parade would go on. It started raining a little harder, my family got up to go under the awning, I stayed on the curb in MY poncho, NEXT TO THE yellow ones (unseen, to the LEFT of the picture...the other yellow poncho is just a kid walking by on the sidewalk).
I sat there for a while enjoying being cooled off - it was our first full Disney day, and I was just happy to be on Main Street. I couldn't have cared less that I was getting wet. My sister took the picture I posted because she thought me, in a poncho, sitting in the rain was funny.
Which, I think, is the same reason the OP took the picture. It's a funny scene. Plus the rain started coming down so down hard it was actually pretty neat! I probably have video of it, as a matter of fact...perhaps I'll posted up for all to see!
When it started monsooning, I was afraid my cameras would get wet, so I got up and stood beneath the awning, BEHIND the area where the yellow ponchos were.
And then they cancelled the parade.
Who ever woulda thunk a DISer would capture the "magical moment"?
(And I apologize to the thousands of "tourist attractions" I've inadvertantly taken photos with!!)
