Is this year going to be more crowded?

I have no perspective, but when I hear things like a lot of the hotels are full etc, I begin to wonder if this is going to be a more crowded year to go....not that I would change...I am too excited, but I guess I am just trying to feel it out. Are hotels always filled in June...and will we still have fun?(Hey, I guess that"s up to me and my incredible family,huh?)

June is always a crowded time at Disneyland. I think however that this year as well as last year, are more crowded than usual due to the 50th anniversary celebration. Get to the parks early, use fastpass and even on the busiest day you can have a great time. Also, this June there is all the hoopla surrounding the Pirates of the Caribbean movie premier/ride reopening. So if you are going around the weekend of the 24th, that would also account for some sold out hotels etc. I hope you have a wonderful trip!

Disney has been more crowded for the past year or so. There is no reason to think that will end soon so I would figure that crowds will probably be larger again this year.

With all the reports and posts that I have read, Disney is extremely crowded now. We picked up friends at the Phila air port this past Sunday and they have never seen Disney this crowded the last week of May.
