I have had a quote to stay at the Old Key West Resort during May 2012. The quote is for 2 people staying in a studio with park tickets and the free dining plan for 14nts. Quote is £2088.

I intend to book the flights nearer the time.

yes! its around 40% off so its a good deal

In 2009 we paid that for 14 nights port orleans fq for 2 weeks and had to upgrade our dining plan to get the table service

We have booked a 1 bed villa this year on the same deal

The OKW/SSR offer & free DDP is better value when you fill the room to capacity, 4 adults to get best value. When only 2 adults and no children its not quite as good.
If you want to stay onsite then its still a great deal compared to other options. A value would save you maybe £800 but no DDP included, A moderate cheaper by around £300 but only QSDDP. So for an onsite price OKW is a good deal.
If you are happy offsite then you could save money but it depends on your personal likes. We enjoy offsite as much as onsite so its purely down to the figures for us.
Take into account free parking if you have a car but cost of internet at $10/night onsite often free offsite if you are taking a laptop.

If its not the school holiday also look at a package, VH, Thomas cook etc, they sometimes do good prices out of school holidays.

I agree with Wayne in that filling the room is always going to bring you out ahead. But I will add that I paid under £100 less for our stay for this year at POFQ which has QSDP. It was what we wanted rather than the regular DDP, but still, in terms of value, OKW is a Deluxe resort and you get the full DDP.

Thank you for your replies, we do want to stay in Disney and have the DDP rather than the QSDP. I'm very tempted to book this offer.

We took a very simillar offer for oct this year having stayed at POFQ and POR on the QSDP.

There are only DH and myself so we booked a studio room, we normally don't spend a lot of time in the room but to have the option of a patio or balconey as well as the small kitchen area was worth a little extra and not forgetting the DDP.

I think if you are happy that the price is a good one then I say go for it. If you can't justify the cost then look at a cheaper option. I would not have looked at OKW if not for the offer so I'm pleased that we are getting the chance to try it this year.

Have recently looked at what it would cost with out the offer and :scared1:
