Is this workable, do you think?

We have a Fantasmic Dinner package at 1:30 for lunch at Mama Melrose. We then thought we'd leave the park and return in time to be in line by 8:15 for the Fantasmic show that night.

I'm trying to figure out dinner. Do you think we could schedule a 6:30 dinner at Cape May and get out in time to make it to DHS for Fantasmic? My thought is that Cape May would be a buffet, so you'd think it would be quicker.

Thoughts?

I would make dinner at 6 to allow enough travel time back to the studios.
have fun!:cool1:

Is there only 1 Fantasmic on your night and it's at 9 PM? I think your plan would work then (or maybe 6 PM would be better as suggested above - I like to leave TONS of time). Keep your eye out though for any added F! shows because if they add an earlier show, your dining package would be for that show.

Would they add a show earlier than the 9:00 show?? That would be AWESOME! If they were to have a 7:00 show, we could maybe have a late dinner somewhere.

6:00 is too early for dinner when we're eating lunch at 1:30. I figure it takes about 90 minutes for lunch, so that would mean finishing lunch at 3:00 and eating again at 6:00. I can't imagine anyone would be hungry. 6:30 would be seriously pushing it as it is.

I just checked some info from last year (assume June is when you're going by your ticker) - it shows F! on these nights in 2010:

Fantasmic!
June 1, 3, 6, 10, 11, 13, 17, 19 - 21, 24, 27 & 29:
9 & 10:30 p.m.

So I guess they probably wouldn't add an earlier show - sorry to get your hopes up! I forget about the parks being open later in the summer - I'm used to going when the 9 PM F! would be the later of 2 shows!

Dang! I kinda figured they wouldn't since it gets dark later and a 7:00 show would be a light show in the light. ;)

Does anyone know how long the show lasts, approximately?
