This happened to me and my girls, and it is one of our favorite Disney memories. At the time, I had no idea that the boat would be stopping in the middle of the ride for the entire show of fireworks, (I thought they just closed the ride down with all the boats in dock)--but when it happend to us it was wonderful. At first my girls were upset, thinking it would be boring to just sit there, but as soon as the fireworks started--we realized at what an amazing, peaceful, magical experience this was. The skipper told stories to us about Tinkerbell, and we were able to get an amazing view of her flyinging over the castle that we had never seen before. Of course we had seen her head on (we are usually right in front of the castle for fireworks)--but never anything like this.

I have been on Matterhorn and the Rockets ride during fireworks, but that is much different because you only get a short glimse. For the storybook ride they actually turn the motor of the boat off and you sit there and watch the entire show by boat.

Last night, my wife, myself and our 4-year old daughter went to the Disney Store Outlet at AZ Mills and purchased a bunch of stuff for out upcoming trip to Disneyland.
We were able to buy kids t-shirts for $5.50 and adult shirts for $7.50!

We bought an outfit for our daughter for each day of our trip, 7 days, some pj's for her, two t-****s for myself, a t-shirt for the wife, an oversized nightshirt for the wife and a mickey purse for less than $160. Not bad.

P.S. They also sell a bunch of toys, plush characters, costumes, cups, bottles, place mats, etc. and park tickets.
