Is this too much?

I have always wanted to try Liberty Tree Tavern especially their ooey gooey toffee cake! However, I was able to score dinner at CRT for 5pm that I definitely want to keep! Would it be too much if I do like an 11am lunch at LTT and 5pm dinner at CRT? It’s just 2 adults. Breakfast is going to be waffles at Sleepy Hollow so it’s no sit down. This is our only MK day. Thanks!

2 sit downs is too much for my fam. There’s no way we would eat enough to make it worth the money either, even with 6 hrs between them. If you heart is set on both, maybe just fruit for breakfast?

There are many days we do two or even three table service! That said we've never done more than one multi course meal in a day. Honestly though I think you would be fine with those two options 6 hours apart. Your just planning your dining to be full meals and wouldn't be snacking your way through the day. For our upcoming MK day we're doing the same. I have Skipper Canteen and BOG booked on the same day about 6 hours apart. We think MK has really weak QS and don't want to leave the park so two TS makes the most sense for us.

The only way we can do 2 big table service meals is if we do one for breakfast or an 11 lunch and an after 8pm dinner. ... and even then it is hard...it's a lot food and a lot of your day spent in a restaurant.

For Oct 1st we had booked LTT just before noon and another sit down for around 5:00 (was nervous we wouldn't have any place to eat otherwise that day). We had skipped breakfast as well but after having the LTT lunch we were not hungry and ended up cancelling our 5:00 dinner.

I’d make breakfast smaller and before you even get to the park. Something like a piece of fruit or a granola bar.

Two reasons: 1) Time. Standing in line and taking the time to eat waffles after the park opens is a waste of park time. With two TS meals, you need to cut as much other eating time while the park is open. 2) Calories/feeling full. If you eat lighter (and earlier) you won’t be as full at lunch in the first place.

My other advice is to not eat just because it is served to you at LTT. IMO, their dressing is just a salty bread wad. If there is something you don’t like at that meal, skip overeating it. Basically, don’t stuff yourself silly at lunch.

And remember, it’s your day! If enjoying your favorite food experiences is what you want for your MK day, it’s fine to do that! It’s your day, not mine.

I'd make a copycat recipe of the cake at home and skip LTT. But I don't think the food there is good and I wouldn't waste park time with two long sit down meals :confused3

I have thought about making it at home so I don’t waste park time. Thanks. It’s something to think about.

We regularly do 2 table service meals a day. But we usually have a salad, burger or something lighter for 1 of them. Never had both of them as 3 course prix fixe. And they’re usually more like 7 hours apart.

Sounds like you’ve been to WDW before. Maybe this isn’t the time to try LTT. We loved lunch there & the dessert is worth going for. We also really enjoy CRT. Personally I would only keep both if I was OK spending the money at LTT but eating very little there. I’d much rather save my appetite for CRT.

Plus with only 1 day at MK, do you really want to spend that much time at table service?

Hunger and money aside (which I don't have enough of to eat two pre fixe meals in 1 day 🤣) I would not want to spend that much of my time eating if I only had 1 day in MK.

It always takes a while to dine at LTT - we've always waited a while when checking in but honestly this is one of our go-tos. Food seems decent and consistent - that said - I agree two TS are too much for a 1 day MK trip

I agree! I will be saving LTT for our next trip! Thanks
