Our arrival day is on Thursday and we'll be at the Waldorf. After we check in we'll be heading to MK ,and when we arrive at WDW we'll valet at the Contemporary arriving between 6:15p and 6:30. We'll prob walk over to the park. Our first fp is for Buzz between 6 and 7 pm. We then have overlapping fp's for dh and I for 7dmt commencing at 7:05p and 7:15pm respectively, then we'll head to IASW(no fp) and then fp for Splash M at 8:15pm. Then we'll grab the train from Frontierland back to the exit and the monorail to the Contemp. I just grabbed dinner res. at Cal Grill for 9:05 pm. Doable ? Thoughts? If we speak to the CG people when we valet and indicate we may be a little later getting back might that work ?

1. It will work if there are no delays and there is room at CR valet parking, and they
are accepting outside parking.
I'd not want to arrive that late for a FP+ window that ends at 7PM.
It's too hard to judge exact arrival times and other variables.

2. I don't understand the question. You can retrieve your car from valet any time.

OMG I worded that so very badly...lol. What I meant was my concern was making it back to Cal Grill on time for the dinner res and thought if we stopped at the CG desk when we arrived and indicated we might be a little later getting back and "would they hold the res for us" might that work ?

I realize we might be a bit tight on the arrival for the fp+ but our flight gets in around 3:30pm, and by the time we pick up luggage, rental car, drive to Waldorf, check in, change, drive to the Contemporary Im sort of guessing at arrival time but I cant do much with that. Hopefully we don miss our 1st fp+ esp since we're just doing 4 rides that night

1. It couldn't hurt.

2. Once you're there, even if you miss the first FP+ window (I mean flat-out MISS the end time)
you can still CHANGE that first FP+ to a different time (if available) or different attraction (if available.)

Everything will have to go perfectly for you not to miss any of your FP+ and dinner ADR. That means no flight delays, no traffic, room to valet park, no ride shutdowns, short standby lines, no monorail delays or breakdowns...you get the idea.

We only have the one ride on standby....and if we have to skip then we will...but im getting the impression u think I cut it too close :(

But I still cant overlap with other fp's right? So if we miss it we really cant use it because we're running up against our dinner hour or do I have this wrong?

Yup.
They can't overlap.

So, if there's no other time to book, and you miss the first FP+, you can still use the other two with no penalty.

Do they allow you to park at CR that far ahead of an ADR?

That is a rather controversial subject.

Many contend that ANYONE can valet park at CR at any time.

(It is not the case on very busy days, however.)
