I have got a quote for 15 nights at Bonnet Creek staying in a 2 bedroom unit.

The price I was quoted was $1250, I was told that if I put down a 50% deposit now that the price will be secured but unit size would not be.

Does this sound right to you?

I am going from Oct 19th - Nov 3rd. I am assuming this is low-ish season so it shouldn't be that busy should it?

Each time I booked with Ken Price, the unit size was secured. The deal was once we got inside 60 days, the price would drop, or he could get the next size larger unit if there was availability, or same size and same price in a presidential unit (more upscale), if available.

I am not sure if that info is much help to you.

I don't know WBC's calendar for high/low season, but I do remember wanting to book last year during October and Ken told me it was high season. I was surprised at that.

I ended up staying in September instead for other reasons.

$1250 for 15 days is an awesome price for a 2 bedroom, I think maybe average for a 1 bedroom.

I have used Ken Price before as well, and I believe we payed a 50% deposit when the ressie was made and balance at 60 days. He was awesome to work with. I would say that is a decent price for 15 days in a 2 bedroom. Ken typically will rebook at a lower price if available for your time at the 60 day window. This time I used Sun or Snow vacations. So far Laura has been great. Since we are only staying 2 nights her certificate fee is lower than Ken's, so it was a bit cheaper. She came recommended to me also by a few people on here. We dont check in till April. But, Im not really worried.... she seems very legit!

Hi,

Thanks for the replies. Can I ask what prices you managed to get with Ken?

Im pretty sure we paid $120 a night plus the certificate transfer fee. Somewhere around $330???? maybe a bit more. We only stayed 2 nights.

I think we have paid $100 per night for the 2 bedroom with Ken. Once we rented a 3 bedroom and it was absolutely wonderful, best view ever. That one was more but I can't remember the exact price. We always stay at least 5 days, have stayed up to 9 days, so Ken did not charge us the certificate fee the prior post mentioned.

I think I have rented from Ken 4 times, my sister rented a 1 bedroom once, and a friend got 2 2 bedrooms from him once for less than $100/night.

It depends on the time of year, I think.

Thanks for the replies.

Has anyone else heard of bookings like this? I am reluctant to book at the moment.

The quote was through Neil's Vacation Deals. Has anyone heard of this company or booked through them?

What was your experience?

Thanks :)
