Hi Everyone,

I am going to Disney in July and can't wait! :cool1: However I have 2 younger dsis that would love to go to Disney and I have done the unselfish thing and suggested to my mum that I take them (obviously I gain nothing from this gesture ;))

Anyway I have been trying to look into the cheapest way that I can get them over there in November for 1 week with Virgin and staying at the Wilderness Lodge Resort. :sunny:

If I book the accommodation directly with Disney is is currently up at £954 total and then if I book the fly drive option with Virgin (but don't want to drive so don't select the insurance and don't collect the car) with my FV Discount that comes to £1200 ish!!! - this is cheaper than booking the flights only with Virgin Atlantic :confused3

Please can someone let me know whether booking the fly drive, not taking the insurance and not collecting the car is possible for the cheaper fares, or will Virgin not allow it?? I know that when booking my car for July I had the option of "no insurance selected"

I hope this sounds right and I am not confussing you all!!

There shouldn't really be a problem with not collecting the car, you may have to inform the rep at the other end that you don't want it but its not really a problem, loads of people do it. (if I was to get technical then Virgin could say that you had agreed to take the car and that was the contract so you HAVE to have it but its VERY unlikely this would happen) in fact I've never heard of it happening at all. :)

I've heard others say that they haven't collected the car.
If anyone were to say anything I'd just say that I'd been thinking about it on the flight over and had decided that it would be too stressful driving ;)
They can't make you drive if you say you don't feel confident about it :goodvibes
No problems selecting the 'no insurance' option - I took out my own ins this year and nothing was said.

Thanks for your responses! I am feeling a lot more confident about booking now - Thanks!!

Now just need to choose a date :cool1:

A few months back you gave me a link for a NatWest car insurance leaflet scan. You don't happen to have it handy do you? Thanks so much if you can help!
