My DD wants to get married at Disney but not in the Wedding Pavillion. She has an aversion to all things Grand Floridian. I don't get it. Anyway, what she would like is a very small ceremony on the patio on top of the Train Station at the Magic Kingdom with the Castle in the background.

We have sat here on many occasions to watch the parades.

Preferably just before the fireworks so after the big kiss the fireworks will start. Then a dinner at O'hana. So is this at all possible? Or would it be cost prohibitive?

It isn't possible. They don't do weddings while there are guest in the park.

The only ceremony location inside the Magic Kingdom is the Swan Boat Landing in the castle rose garden. Ceremonies there start at $10,000 (for the ceremony portion only—a reception costs extra).

There are plenty of other places to be married at Walt Disney World besides the Wedding Pavilion. There are dedicated ceremony spots at the Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, BoardWalk Inn, and the Yacht Club. Plus there are locations inside the other three theme parks, including most of the pavilions in World Showcase.

Thank-you now I have a place to start. She loves the Wilderness Lodge---$10,000.00 is just a bit steep. But I would bet that is really pretty.

Fortunately, none of the other locations besides the MK are that steep. Escape weddings at Wilderness Lodge and the other resort locations start at $4,750. They also have a 20% discount now thru Dec. 15, 2011.

Memories Collection weddings are even cheaper ($1,991), but they're limited to 6 people total and only available thru March 2012.

Wishes weddings start at $10,000, but that includes a reception (except at the MK).

Hope this helps!
