Is this possible with FP+?

Wondering if someone with more FP+ experience than me can help me out here.

We are DVC members and purchased the 4 day, 4 park discounted passes for our trip in February. These passes don't include the ability to park hop, and we would like to park hop on one of our days. Purchasing those 4 day passes plus one additional one day ticket costs less than purchasing a 4 day park hopper, and that one additional one day ticket will enable us to attend two different parks on one of the days.

Since we have a separate one day ticket, can I make FP+ reservations for two different parks on the same day?

I assume it would still be impossible at 60 days because I would need to link the one day ticket to my MDE account, and MDE would not let me make FP+ reservations for two parks on a single day.

However, if I create a separate MDE account and link my one day ticket to that account, I should be able to make FP+ reservations 30 days out, rather than having to wait to get to the second park of the day. The only downside that I see to this is that the one day ticket's park entrance and FP reservations would not be linked to my magic band.

Am I missing anything? Are reservations at 60 days out possible? Is it worth going through this to make reservations at 30 days out, rather than day of? Thanks in advance for any advice/guidance.

Theoretically I see no reason why it wouldn't work if you have a completely separate MDE account and take your magic bands off.

However, won't the one day ticket cost $100+, and park hopper cost $69?

He won't need park hopper.

Just the ability to go into a second park.

Park hopper can't be added to the ticket that the OP has.

The special 4 day tickets are $199 and are good for 1 day at each park. Buying that and a $100 1 day ticket would be cheaper than the $366 4 day park hopper price (at undercover tourist) assuming you were only hopping once.
