I have points on the disney visa that expire next year--

I dont want to lose any points!!!??

so what I thought I could do is have them put on the disney rewards card

and then get a disney gift card from the disney store

or is there something else I can do so I dont lose the points

It's possible but it will depend on your local Disney Store because the Dream Dollars are not supposed to be used for cash or its equivalent.

I know that you can go to disneyshopping.com, order a Disney gift card (not the e-gift certificate) from them and pay for it with your rewards card.

I don't know how many points you have, but could you buy a ticket with it? Even an expiring ticket is good forever unless you use it at a park. It's an investment in a future trip!

A manager at my local Disney store told me that if my points/dollars are going to be expiring soon to transfer them to the card and then bring that card into the Disney Store and purchase a gift card for that amount since the gift cards don't expire. We happened to just be talking about it when he was ringing me up one day.
