Is this possible CDG/Paris/DLP?

I am visiting London in September. I was going to take the Eurostar over to DLP and stay over a couple of nights and go into Paris for just a quick day trip, but the train schedule is not really working out for a time/cost effective trip.

So it's not that much more to just grab a BA flight over to Paris so that's probably what I'll do.

Here's my plan.

Friday morning grab an early plane to CDG. Land, check in to a hotel right at the airport (maybe Ibis) drop my bags and take a metro train into Paris and spend the day sightseeing. (I only have one or two things I want to do and I have no plans to actually plan a trip to Paris, like ever)

Saturday I figured to get up early, and grab the first train to DLP at Terminal 2, again spend the day then grab a late train back to CDG, spend the night and fly back to London on Sunday. (I'm flying home on Monday).

I can't get train schedules to come up for my days but does anyone know or done these things:

1. Get to the train station if you're not already in the airport (like is it past security? or will they let me through with my train ticket?)
2. Get an early/late train on the same day and have at least 6-10 hours in the park?

Thanks in advance.

Which train are you looking at getting from CDG to DLP?
The TGV is the fast train which only takes about 10mins and is cheaper if you book for a specific train (but not sure of what time it starts in the morning or of the last one)
The RER is the slower commuter train which will be cheaper but will take about 2 hrs and you have to change lines in central Paris (same station). They run every few minutes and you don't have to book

You will have no trouble being able to use the trains if you are not already in the airport as its a separate part of the airport but you also need to factor in getting from the Ibis to the airport - Im assuming its not walkable and so may need to get a shuttle bus or taxi.
Also which airport are you flying from in London? You will need to factor in getting there from your hotel in London.
You also may not be able to leave your bags there- often hotels like Ibis don't have left luggage facilities

I'm flying from Heathrow

At Charles De Gaulle

Citizen M hotel is .02 miles away

Hilton is .03 miles away

Ibis is .04 miles away

all walkable or shuttle/taxi worthy

I will take the TGV which is not bookable yet but shows trains about every 30-45 minutes (and depending on park opening/closing I may not need the earliest or latest trains).

I am planning on staying at the Onsite/Heathrow hotel (either the Sofitel (in terminal 5) or the Hilton (in Terminal 4)) Sunday night upon my return to London, and hope that I can drop my luggage on Friday morn in anticipation of my stay on Sunday night to catch my flight Monday morning.

If not there is a baggage hold company at Heathrow that will cost me less than $25 dollars to keep my luggage (just the one big piece I'll take my carryon to Paris) for the two days.

Heathrow is on the Tube/train line in London but honestly I'll probably pay for a service/taxi that morning.

CDG airport is very large and spread out (there are shuttle buses which run between terminals ) so you will more than likely need a shuttle bus or taxi to the hotel there even if it is less than half a mile away as Im not sure where the distance to the hotels is measured from but it could be from the perimeters of the airport or as the crow flies.

I don't think the hotel at Heathrow would let you keep your luggage there for 2 days for security reasons but you could ask. As you say though there is the option of luggage storage at the airport. Again Heathrow is very spread out.

It will be quite expensive to get a tax from central London to Heathrow but you can get the tube as you say which takes about an hour or there is a Heathrow Express train from Paddington station which is more expensive but much quicker.

It will be worth adding up all these extra bits as you said the train schedule is not cost effective but by the time you've added them all it might be just as cheap to get the train. You can get reasonably cheap Eurostars from London to Paris and could get a cheap hotel either in Paris or close to DLP - there is a Ibis there a couple of stops away on the train

Mostly it was the fact that due to off season the train has fewer runs so while I would have to stay Friday through Sunday I wouldn't have enough time to hit Paris and DLP but if I dropped Paris, I still would not get enough time in DLP to justify the cost of multiday park tickets.

Though I have seen the shuttle service from central Paris to the parks including the tickets and its not too bad.

Basically trying to get a plan as I want to start purchasing tickets and reserving hotels.

Thanks for the input, it gives me some ideas to tweak with the plan.

Have you just looked at the Eurostar direct to DLP? There is only one a day and not everyday during off season however there is also the Eurostar to central Paris where there are several a day.
Ive just done a dummy booking for 1st Sep and there are 17 trains that day - most of them £29 one way.
You can get a train from central Paris direct to the park gates for approx 8Euros 1 way or a return mobilis ticket which is approx 17Euros return including use of any metro journeys as well through the day

That sounds doable. I will say I've had tons of problems with the Eurostar site. Sometimes it gives me time and sometimes it says that they don't have any trains. Kind of frustrating. I'm just now beginning to look at Paris, so I'm still happening on alternatives.
