Is this possible at Coronado springs?

We plan on bringing an air mattress for my DGS to use even though the room has 2 queens. He's a "sideways sleeper" and my son--HIS DAD--won't sleep with him and at 11 is too old to sleep with gma. I keep telling my son it is his fault--instead of buying him a single/twin bed for home he bought him a double so now the child is used to being able to "sprawl" when he sleeps ;)

Will my ecv and an air mattress fit? I was thinking of asking them to take the desk out. Do you think they would do that so I don't have to rearrange it or can I fit an air mattress and ecv into the room, even if tight?

I can't say with certainty that this is impossible, but I really don't see it being likely to happen. If there was a medical need for the child to have a different bed requiring the removal of a piece of furniture, they might accommodate it, but simply because his dad doesn't want to sleep with him, I don't see it happening.

Is there a reason that your grandson can't sleep with you? Perhaps our family is odd, but I really see nothing wrong with a grandchild sleeping with a grandparent of either sex at that age (or really any age, to be honest).

I stayed at CS last month and I think it would be a tight fit to squeeze a double air mattress in the room. It might fit in the area between the sinks and the bedroom, but then someone would have to climb over the mattress to get to the toilet. An ECV would probably fit inside the room by the door though. We parked two strollers there without any problems.

Sorry all-I meant a twin mattress. I also think it's a not a big deal for him to sleep with me--but my son does. :confused3

We were able to get a rollaway but somehow I don't think they do this anymore. It was an EXTREMELY tight fit with the extra bed in there. I mean..you couldn't really walk. Throw in an ECV and eek. But You could probably stick a twin between the two beds.

Thanks. It appears my son will just have to suck it up and decided who my DGS is going to sleep with.

Tell your son to sleep on top of the sheet but under the quilt. If your DGS sleeps under the sheet and your son is on top of it, it will limit the movement of your DGS! It works....I've done it.

I think it would be a VERY tight fit if it could be done! We love CSR but the rooms were built with doubles, not queens in mine and while we LOVE the queens, it makes for a very tight fit!

Good idea!
