I just found a pin we got 7 years ago or so when we checked in. It's an American Express White Glove Treatment pin that came with a lanyard. On pinpics it's pin #8921. Is this pin tradable the same as any other Disney pin?:confused3

Thanks for the help

How fun... you have a lanyard and a pin! :goodvibes You are off to a good start!

***WARNING*** Pin trading can become an addiction!:rotfl:

Is there a thread somewhere that descibes what is "tradable" and what is not?

I am wanting to get some pins (bought a lanyard yesterday at DL along with a few pins) to trade on a trip to WDW in November, but don't want to buy something from ebay or elsewhere that is not tradable.

Thanks!

If you go to the main WDW (official) website and look up pin trading there is a link to specific pages about it. I printed this before going our first time so I knew. :thumbsup2

Pinpiks is a good site to look up pin examples.

Ebay can be a good place to get pins, if you are extremely careful! There are sellers that will sell bad pins, so check feedback and ask a lot of questions! I have even ask for them to send me pictures of the backs of pins before, if I had any questions!

To be traded, pins must be official Disney pins and stamped as such. :goodvibes

I have bought from ebay but recently I bought over 80 (for less than $2.50 each) on clearance from Disneyshopping.com! :) They often will have stackable codes with free or reduced shipping, and an additional percent off. Check there! The 80+ we bought are all LE (only 1000 made) offficial pins, new on cards. You can't beat that! :goodvibes

The semi-annual pin sale at disneyshopping started today, so you can get some decent traders there now if you check out some of the sets.
