Yes, Disneyawards is a legit program. A test run of the program was started a few months ago before the program was opened to more registrants.. At that time, registration was limited so Kris could track how the programming was working. Kris has put a lot of time trying to get sponsers - THAT ACTUALLY PAY HER- so she could make it profitable for both herself and users. Along with other members, there has been a lot of effort put into the actual design and functionality of the program. She was personally spending hours a day just trying to count up entries for any one day. I suspect part of her reason for taking down the site was to work on automating this process.
So, where does this leave the program. Right now the program is down. She is in the process of revamping the site in order to give every one who participates the best oppotunity to win prizes. She has a note on the website that explains where she is in her redesign. There is also a Forum board (the link is at the bottom of any page) where she posts updates for members to read.
I won $10 Disney Dollars a few weeks ago. I know several members of this board have won Disney Dollars, Gifts Certs, as well as park passes.
It is absolutely a legitimate program. However, until the new site is up and running I cannot give you any details on how it will work. I don't know if Kris is taking any new registrants at this time. I know you can post a note on her Forum board and she will answer the questions for you. Often, they have chats during the week to talk about what is going on. I hope this helps a little.
