Can I do this?

Jan. 2 -7 at Moderate = 2319. dxddp

Jan 7-9 at a Moderate with room discount 266

Total is 2585 for the entire trip. This is versus 2872 for Jan. 2 through the 9th. Ultimately a near 300 saving for 1 day of meals (Sat.) My calculation is that Fridays meals would be good until midnight and we are flying out Sunday at 6:00 am. Therefore, will not use any meals. If we stay at the same resort, do we have to change rooms? Has anyone done this?
Thanks!

You can do it. However, you will have to check back in for the last night, and there is a small chance you would have to change rooms. Just let the CM know about the second reservation when you check in the first time. Hopefully they will be able to keep you in the same room.

So, my park tickets still work even though I have a second reservation, as long as I have enough days?
Thanks!

I believe your park days are good 14 days from 1st use...or something like that..so you should be fine on tix.

We are doing something similar. Could only get courtyard view at WL for our dates of 12/5-12 and I didn't want to pay several hundred $$ for the view. So we were able to book 12/5-12/11 standard view and only pay courtyard view for the night of the 11th. I am hoping they will let us stay in the same room the last night, but we may have to move.

Yes. I assume you would be putting your park tickets onto the first stay as you have dining on that reservation so you will be fine. If your tickets are on your KTTW card then you will just use those cards from your first reservation for your length of stay, although once you have checked out and used your dining credits by midnight on check out day that will be all those KTTW cards will be good for. I know of people who have not considered this and made their first stay room only and put their park tickets onto the second stay with their dining plan ..... :headache:

But you are fine!

I read that it is OK to put your tix on the 2nd ressie and have room only for the 1st b/c you can pick up tix 2-3 days early if you are a WDW resort guest.
