I guess you need to realize that 99% of people (or more) who are visiting WDW on any given day, are NOT able to go on their "actual" birthdays/ anniversaries either. I have only been to WDW once ever and this will be my kids first trip. That still doesn't give us the right though to tell people to treat us special because we're celebrating our birthday's. On your point, what's stopping anyone who goes from claiming it's THEIR birthday? So do you think anyone and everyone should be able to celebrate their birthday there, just because they haven't before? (really this sounds like I'm mad-I'm not, just trying to make sense of this
) Yes, MOST people can not go to WDW on their ACTUAL birthdays, obviously. (we are taking our DS out of school so he can be-which won't happen again ever I'm sure) But for those who do, is this not taking something away from them? Like the other poster said, seems like EVERYONE is getting pins, and cupcakes, and sung to. I know, I'm like lessly to say "Happy Birthday" to everyone I pass wearing pins, or getting a cupcake at the restaurants, because after reading these boards and realizing how many people do it, it has spoiled it for me. I won't know whose birthday is actually is VS who just wants the free perks and attention. Like I said, if everyone felt the way you do, EVERYONE would be "celebrating" their birthdays, and where's the magic in that?
