Is this normal?

I was searching for value resort availability for 10/23-10/25 and came up empty. I re-ran the search but accidentally switched the dates to 10/23-10/29 and all of a sudden all three All-Star resorts were available. Is there some new minimum stay requirement? Other more expensive resorts are coming up for the two days I need, but no values.

BTW, I was only looking at rack rates, no special offers.

I have no official knowledge but it seems that they do not want the rooms taken up for weekend trips so people staying a week can book the rooms. My guess is that lots book the values for quick cheap weekend trips. Also if you do book the room for the whole time then drop the extra days later they cancel the whole thing and try and rebook you for just those days(which they do not have).

Yep. They appear to be imposing length of stay requirements, and it seems like as you go up in price, the minimum length of stay is shorter.

I'm don't like it but I do support it. Disney can do what they want with their resorts. I've always tried to get shirt stays for December 28-30 but couldn't where I wished before this year. I can now and have booked it.

Call them i had the same issue for our late October stay. When inventory is thigh seem that their online system has problems online plus they are putting length of stay requirements. They were able to book my 4 day reservation over the phone it did take a while because resorts were so full. When I putted my 4 nights it showed nothing available, when i put night by night it showed availability just in ASM. So i called and told them that over the phone and after talking to a supervisor they were able to book it. Not trill with our option,so be prepare to make some sacrifices.
