Can anyone tell me about this? We have a reservation on DVC points in a few days. I just called to make sure the reservation was in order. The automated response gave me all the information (correct) except at the end they (automated) said you owe $568.13 at time of check in.

Lisa, I don't think you gave folks enough information...are you renting points? If so, I'd check with the person you are renting from.

If you are a DVC member and staying on points, I'd call member services and ask them. Perhaps you are traveling after the due date for dues???

did you add the dining plan?

If so, that could be the charge for it. You have to pay for the dining plan at check-in.

Ya, I would have to expect it applies to the DDP or possibly some other excursion or tour you signed up for. I would not expect that it would apply to the annual dues as the bills have not even gone out yet for 2010.
If you are renting points from a DVC member, and you have no idea what the amount is for, then I would certainly contact the DVC member for an explanation.
