Is this normal when renting a car?

I reserved a car for our October trip with budget and when I reserved they didnt even ask for a credit card number or anything. Is this normal? Will I have a car when I get to the counter?

Yes most company dont have you put a credit card when booking it unless your prepaying. Yes you will have a car when you get there so dont worry.

Make sure you have a reservation number and all terms printed out, and if you have a coupon that too. The systems are pretty much automated now so their machines take the card, however, if you want to assure you get the same rate make sure you actually get a confirmation.

Thanx, I do have a confirmation number so I will print that out and take it with us. I guess I am just being parinoid.
