Is this information correct?

I saw on another site that Disney only allows two forms of payment to pay off your reservation. The person said you could use multiple GCs and that counts as one form of payment, but it has me a little worried. I paid the deposit on my debit card. I'll probably pay most of it with GCs and I was going to use a CC to pay the balance. I'll also have a $200 Visa GC that I might use. That's more than two forms of payment. I'm hoping that what I read was wrong and I figured DISers would have the accurate information. If this is correct I'll have to rethink how I'm going to pay the balance.

Thanks!

I'm interested in this info as well as I'm starting this week to save for our vacation that I will book in December. I'll be asking for GCs for Christmas and birthday so I can apply to pay off the balance.

I think what they meant was 2 forms of payment/call. I've used 3 differant CC if not more, gc's etc in paying off my stuff.

I paid our last trip with a combination of gift cards, and different credit cards. I know for a fact I used at least 2 CC and multiple gift cards. I paid everything online though, I don't know if that makes a difference.

Great, thanks! I asked my TA a while ago if I could make multiple payments and she said I could and didn't mention any restrictions.

You can use whatever you like, whatever combination for paying off your vacation. I think the cap on gift cards is 20.

As far as tickets go, if you were purchasing stand alone tickets they would only accept 2 separate payments. You wouldn't be able to use 2, $50 gift cards and then a debit card for the rest because that would be 3 payments. You could use 1, $50 gift card and the debit card for the rest.

Packages don't have that restriction.

I believe it is per transaction and I don't think it applies over the phone or online. I know it does at the ticketing window and I think I read somewhere that the same is true when paying off a room-only reservation at check-in, but for packages you can pay with any number of methods. I've used as many as 10 gift cards to pay off a package because buying them from my kids' school Scrip fundraiser is one of the ways I save for my trips, and I didn't have any problem.

That helps a lot. Thanks! What I saw on the other site wasn't clear about exactly what they were trying to pay for.

I can tell you that I recently called and added the dining plan for 8 people and paid with 41 $50 gift cards with no problems.
