Enter the Disney GC's onto Disney's Vacation Account. Once $1000 is applied to a Disney Vacation a $20 Disney GC will be sent from Disney.

So, essentially I'd be paying $86.50 for $100 in Disney money, correct?

That is correct but be sure that you purchase your Disney gift cards online and not at Target or you won't get the additional 5% that you would online.

When the Red Card first came out a few years ago I wasnt able to get 5% off in person on the Disney cards, but I knew of DIS'ers doing it.
Wasnt sure if Target was not allowing it since I'm in FL

Has it always been online only, or is this a recent development?

As far back as I can remember, I have been able to get a 5% discount on Disney GC purchases when I use my REDCard as a form of payment at Target stores. However, the 5% only comes off of the portion paid with the REDCard, so if I were to use a Target GC as a partial form of payment, I would not get the 5% REDCard discount off of the amount paid for with the Target GC.

BUT...

If you make your purchase online, the REDCard discount is applied to the entire purchase. This is true whether you use Target GCs to pay for part or even all of the balance. You must make sure that your REDCard is already set as your form of payment when you go through the checkout and the 5% comes off. But before hitting the submit button, you can choose to apply a GC. The original 5% discount from the REDCard stays but payment goes through the GC first. If the GC isn't big enough to cover the entire purchase price, then the remainder gets paid with the REDCard.
