Is this good news or nothing special?

I currently have a contract to purchase 190 OKW points and I'm waiting to hear if Disney is going to exercise their ROFR. On Monday I received a letter from Timeshare Closing Services, Inc. Its asking for information on how I want the purchase titled in my name. Does this mean that Disney waived ROFR and I've gotten the contract? Or is this just something they routinely send out to get the closing in line but they don't know about the ROFR yet? I've been so busy at work that I haven't had a chance to call Pat at the Timeshare Store during their office hours to find out. Anyone else out there who has done a resale lately know what this means?

Thanks!

I'd accept it as GOOD NEWS...unless you hear differently in the near future.

There would be no need for the closing service to ask for that info unless the closing is going thru. Congrats!

WELCOME HOME!! :)

I agree, if they're asking for the info, that likely means DVC said OK and you can proceed. If this is not your first DVC purchase, you need to proceed cautiously.

But Doc, you are the eternal optimist. There you go again, just getting her hopes up. What if her greatest dream is quashed with an ROFR? She sees you as not only a moderator, but a role model, a kind of diety. I think this is a dangerous tack for you to be on.

We got the fax before we got the news from Pat so I would take it as good news. Congratulations and Welcome Home!

We got the letter from Timeshare closing service, and a wek or two later got the call from Pat Spell saying it went through. I think they get everything in order because it has to be done anyway.

Good luck....

It's a risk I'm willing to accept! In this case, the glass is 3/4 full. :smooth:

Actually Doc, in this case, you are more than 3/4 full -- you're 100%. I heard from Pat today via e-mail that Disney waived ROFR on 7/9. The letter from Timeshare Closing Services wasn't sent out until word from Disney was in.

Hooray!!!

:jester: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :jester:

PS - Its true Doc, you are viewed as the leading DVC deity.
