I didn't realize until I read the MAPSU website that it was possible for men to pee sitting down. I just didn't think the male anatomy permitted such things. Or the male pride.

I just had to reply to this thread.

My hubby is ambi-urinous. He will pee both ways. Whenever he chooses to sit, he tells me that he's "peeing like a girly-man."

I tried to get the boys to learn to pee sitting down but DH would have no such thing. I guess there is some male bathroom code that only allows you to use a urinal unless you have to go #2. You can't use the stall for #1 I guess (dumb code if you ask me). DH has to clean up all the pee on the floor (well the boys do now since they are old enough)!

What I would give to not have to stand in a long line of women waiting to get into a bathroom during intermission at the ballet, the theater, or a sporting event. Of course, there isn't any line to the men's room.

Yeah, that thought crossed my mind. However, I've made some horrificly embarrassing comments in my DIS past, and none have resurfaced in color. So I now throw all caution to the wind when I post. It's fun living on the edge.

I had a friend (girl ) growing up and she pee'd standing up all the time .I'm not talking the swat thing I'm talking standing leening back and peeing straight out .I was the only BOY she would let watch we were 10 maybe 11 .

I had a male friend who after a surgery was ordered to pee sitting for some amount of time (something to do with his balance or something...can't remember the details). He openly professed loving it...thought the women had a good thing going. He promised to continue....I don't know where he is anymore but I wonder?

TOV, did you know that it's easier to potty train boys sitting down? It's just easier that way, generally speaking. They learn sitting down and then when they get it all figured out they can start standing up. They make potty seats that have a little cup attachment in the front to prevent spillage.

This may be TMI, but DH sits down to pee, and for a long time, it bothered me.

Be a MAN, for crying out loud.
