Is this fair?

Okay so I have a Half sister who lives over in Wisconsin with her husband and their new born baby. Now I have only met her once in my life and that was about a year ago.
See in a few weeks my dad is flying down to go see them. When I asked why the whole family wasn't going he said it was to expensive, which I do understand because it would be like 3,000 just to get there and get a hotel. So then i asked if just me and him could go (my sister is my dad daughter from another marriage) and he said that i just couldn't go.

Now see me out guys i've seen my sister for a whole lot of 5 hours and my dad has seen her basically her whole life. Do you think it's fair that he gets to go see her but not me? I mean i don't want to sound selfish or anything it's just....you know i barely even KNOW her and Maxwell (their son) will probably never know me :/

I think he should take you cause you've like pretty much never met her. But it might be too expensive to take 2 people. Idk..I'm kind of on both sides, but leaning more towards that he should take you!!

It may be expensive, and he may want some time alone with her, or they need some privacy to talk. I'm sure he has a good reason. But tell him how you feel, and maybe soon he can arrange you to go see her?

he probably really wants to see his grandson, and if he can't afford it for two, then it makes sense he should go.
however, i see your point of view, too.
if you really want to see your sister and nephew and brother-in-law, make a proposition to your dad.
maybe instead of going on vacation in the future, you could go visit them, or something like that.
