Seems completely out of the norm from what I'm reading in the David's thread. Found this over on the Resorts forum. How can a renter sell a rental they bought through David's?

Apparently she has David’s approval. Some owners would accept changing the name of the main guest, depending on the circumstances.

The Rent/Trade board is the only place on the DIS that allows rental transactions to be posted. Only the actual owner of the points / reservation may post an offer and there are very specific rules for doing so.

The owner would have to change the name on the reservation, the renter could not do it on their own.
