i am going down to disney in 17 days with a friend and her sister and mother. we will only be there fore 7 days and most of the time we will be eating counter service meals. as well as that we sent a box of breakfast food down with us so i will not be buying breakfast either. i was thinking of only bring 800 down in travelers cheques( 600 for food and 200 for soveniers) do you think that is enough??

Is $600 / $200 for just you? If so, I think you will be fine. When I budget I ball-park it to about $10 per cs meal, so for you would be $20 per day...$140.

And if that amount is for all of you, that would bae $560, so it would be close and you'd have to be careful.

Don't forget budget for any snacks too, like ice cream, popcorn, etc. Which I budget $5 per day per person (afternoon snack and evening snack).

And you can get cups of free ice water, so that will save you alot of money.

This has menus for you to see different pricing.

Have a great trip!

whwo is the 800 for? for one person yes. but all of you i think it would be really tight. does that include all meals tips and mouse keeping tips?

i have a family of 5, on the dining plan. last year we spent 973 on top of the dining plan. this year i have 1200, i hope its enough.

yes this is for one person. it isfor me and i am a teenager i am the person that does not eat alot and will probvaly end up splitting soe meals

When DD and I go to a park for an afternoon, we can go through $20 easy in just sodas/water and ice cream. If you plan to only eat your two meals a day, you should be fine. If you want snacks or to purchase many drinks in the parks, you should budget a bit more.

[COLOR="DarkOrchid]ave a water bottle and refill it at the parks or at the resort before you leave. Or be sure to buy a refillable mug and fill that before you leave for the parks and refill it with water while there..You can get free ice water at any counter service place...this alone will save you some money:) Have a great time...and enjoy all the magic:)"][/COLOR

I think that will be plenty just for u. I'm taking a little more than that but I have a family of 4. Good Luck and have fun
