Okay we are going for 6 nights 7 days.

Our flight arrives at 11:05 am
Leaves at 7:35 pm

We are on the dining plan. I also plan to send down poptarts, boxes of cereal (those mini boxes) and chip bags.

So I am thinking...breakfast can be eaten in the room at least 3 days. Other stuff for when we want to snack.

Since we get counter meal, sit down and snack a day. I don't see me buying to many food items.. More drink items if anything. But I will be bringing waterbottles in the park. and crystal light to kill the bad water taste.

So will 600.00 be enough for us. I don't plan on buying a lot of stuff to bring home..but you all know how that goes.

I will have 300 in Disney Dollars 200 in Traveler's checks and 100 in cash.

Tips will have be seperate for mousekeeping etc.

Thanks

I think you should be all set!

I always figure 100/day/3 people - that leaves PLENTY for other stuff!

That comes to $21 a day per person...(plus you know L/D/S are paid for and you are planning 3 meals in room) I would think that would be plenty. Something I like to do is instead of giving $21 a day per person. Think of it like $10 a day per person up until day 4. Then on Day 4, you have had a chance to look over things you might want to get or something special you want to do. Then re-evaluate and see where you want to spend the extra money. Have a great trip. :sunny:

I think you should be fine. Def bring your own water. The bottle water runs $2.50 a pop and could seriously put a dent in your budget.

If you are going to AK, then I would buy the kids meal coupons as soon as you go in the gate. that way for like $5 you get thier lunch and an extra snack for free then you could use the kids meal plan meal for later maybe a breakfast or special dinner.

What are the kids meal coupons you're talking about? :confused3 I've never heard of this before? :)

I read about them a while back when I was resurching the lunch and dinner ones that are no longer around. Any way Someone said at AK you just go to a counter service when you get inside and buy like a coupon book, for around $5 I think, then you get a coupon for like a happy meal sorta thing and then one for a snack also. Not sure if the snack was a bottle of water or pop and an ice cream or popcorn, or just one of the four sorry. Maybe you could find more info on allears, or by doing a search on the rest. board.
